What to check in Truro before ordering
Truro is in England, so planning decisions sit with your local planning authority (the district, borough, city or unitary council).
- Fire strategy: If a shutter is on an escape route, it must fit the building's fire strategy and must not lock people in.
- Planning: New external shutters can need planning permission, particularly on street-facing elevations.
- Workplace safety: Powered doors in workplaces must be safe in use and properly maintained. We commission the safety devices and recommend a service interval.
