What is roller shutter installation?
Every shutter starts with a survey, because no two openings are the same. We measure the opening and the space around it, check fixings and power, and talk through how you will use the shutter.
Installation is usually one day per opening on homes and shopfronts, and one to three days for large industrial doors. Fitters protect floors and surfaces, fix into sound masonry or steel, and leave the opening clean.
At handover we demonstrate the controls, the manual override and the safety devices, and give you the manufacturer's documentation and warranty details.

Is the survey free?
Yes, for new installations. Repair visits are charged because they include diagnosis and work on the day.
How long from survey to installation?
Usually three to five weeks for made-to-measure shutters; repairs and stocked parts are quicker.
Do you cover my area?
We cover England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Islands and very remote locations are by arrangement.
Will I get a fixed price?
Yes. After the survey you get a written fixed price for the work described, before anything is ordered.
