This website is run for Roller Shutters UK, a trading name of S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd (company number 16932889), part of the S&K Group.
The data controller for personal data collected through this website, including enquiries, the quote tool, live chat and analytics, is S&K Group Holdings Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16703925), registered office Unit 1 Hembs Crescent, Great Barr, Birmingham B43 5DG. S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd is the group company that receives and handles enquiries made through this site on S&K Group Holdings Ltd's behalf. Once you ask us to quote for or carry out work, S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd becomes the controller for the quotation, the contract and the job records.

Why we use it and our lawful basis
- Replying to your enquiry and arranging a survey: to take steps at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
- Quotations, contracts and carrying out work: performance of a contract with you.
- Keeping business and tax records: legal obligation.
- Analytics and live chat cookies: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer.
- Preventing spam and misuse of our forms: our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.
We do not sell your data and we do not pass your enquiry to other companies as a sales lead. Work is carried out by our own fitting teams or by subcontracted installers working under our supervision; we share with them only the details needed to survey and complete your job.
Service providers
We use these providers to run the site and handle enquiries: Netlify (website hosting), Web3Forms (form delivery), Tawk.to (live chat), Google (analytics, only with consent) and our email provider. Some of them process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or approved safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and chats that do not lead to work: 24 months.
- Analytics data: 14 months.
- Quotations, contracts and job records: 7 years after the work, for warranty, legal and tax purposes.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, ask for data portability, and withdraw consent at any time. Email us and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
