Our industrial roller shutter doors service in Fulham
We survey and install across Greater London, and Fulham is one of the towns covered. Neighbouring towns we cover include Chelsea (1 mile away), Putney and Battersea.
For reference, Fulham lies about 4 miles south-west of central London.
Each industrial door is specified for its own opening, so a site in Fulham gets a door matched to its size, use and power supply rather than a single standard.
For warehouses, depots and workshops in and around Fulham, the door is sized to the opening, the wind on that elevation and the number of cycles a day.

Planning and safety in Fulham
As an English town, Fulham follows the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 and the permitted development rules in England.
- Lifting and access: Large doors are installed with suitable access equipment and a site-specific method statement.
- Workplace safety: Powered doors in workplaces must be safe to use and kept maintained; that includes working safety edges or photocells and regular servicing.
- Power supply: Industrial motors may need a 3-phase supply or a dedicated circuit; we confirm what is on site at survey.

Questions about industrial roller shutter doors in Fulham
Can you replace a door in a working warehouse?
Yes. We plan the work to keep the bay out of action for as short a time as possible, often a single day for a like-for-like door.
How often should an industrial door be serviced?
Most busy doors are serviced every six months, quieter doors annually, so the safety devices and motor are checked regularly.
Do I need permission for industrial roller shutter doors in Fulham?
Possibly. New doors on industrial buildings can need planning permission if they change the elevation, and doors in fire compartment walls must suit the fire strategy. We recommend checking with your local council first.
Do you cover Fulham?
Yes. Book a survey for any address in Fulham in the usual way; it is covered as part of Greater London.
