Questions about industrial roller shutter doors in Banstead
Can you replace a door in a working warehouse?
Yes. We plan the work to keep the bay out of action for as short a time as possible, often a single day for a like-for-like door.
Should I choose insulated or single-skin?
Insulated if the building is heated or you get condensation; single-skin steel for unheated stores, farms and compounds.
Do I need permission for industrial roller shutter doors in Banstead?
It depends on the property. New doors on industrial buildings can need planning permission if they change the elevation, and doors in fire compartment walls must suit the fire strategy. Check with your local council before ordering; we can supply drawings.
Is the survey free in Banstead?
For new shutters, yes. Repair visits in Banstead are charged because they include diagnosis and work on the day.
