Planning and safety in Croydon
As an English town, Croydon follows the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 and the permitted development rules in England.
- Ventilation: Keep background ventilation in mind in rooms with gas appliances; slotted laths or a part-open setting help.
- Expectations: Shutters help most when they are closed, so they make the biggest difference at night and on hot afternoons.
