Insulated roller shutters & doors in Merthyr Tydfil: questions
Do roller shutters really insulate?
Insulated shutters reduce heat loss when they are closed, mainly at night, and stop solar heat in summer. They complement good windows rather than replace them.
Is an insulated garage door worth it?
If the garage is attached to the house, sits under a room, or is used as a workspace, the warmer and quieter space is usually worth the difference.
Is the survey free in Merthyr Tydfil?
Yes, for new installations. We tell you the cost of any repair or service visit before booking.
Do I need permission for insulated roller shutters & doors in Merthyr Tydfil?
It depends on the property. External shutters on listed buildings need listed building consent, and conservation areas often have tighter rules. Check with your local council before ordering; we can supply drawings.
