What to check in Rhyl before ordering
Rhyl is in Wales, so planning decisions sit with your local planning authority (the county or county borough council, or a national park authority).
- Planning: Rear shutters are less visible, but listed buildings and conservation areas can still need consent.

Questions about patio & bifold door roller shutters in Rhyl
Can the headbox be hidden?
On new extensions it can be built into the roof edge or behind a fascia. On existing houses it is fitted neatly under the lintel and colour-matched.
Will a shutter keep my extension cooler?
Yes, an external shutter stops sun reaching the glass, which is far more effective at reducing heat than an internal blind.
How much do patio & bifold door roller shutters cost in Rhyl?
The guide prices above apply in Rhyl. Your exact price depends on size, finish, controls and access, and is fixed in writing after survey.
Do I need permission for patio & bifold door roller shutters in Rhyl?
Possibly. External shutters on listed buildings need listed building consent, and conservation areas often have tighter rules. We recommend checking with your local council first.
