Our patio & bifold door roller shutters service in Belper
Belper sits some 7 miles to the north of Derby.
If you are building an extension in Belper, tell us early: the shutter box is easiest to hide when it is planned before the lintel goes in.
Because a door shutter can cover an escape route, each one we fit in Belper has an inside control that works without a key, plus a manual override or battery backup.
We survey and install across Derbyshire, and Belper is one of the towns covered. We also cover Ripley, Heanor and Alfreton, so premises in more than one of these places can be quoted together.

As an English town, Belper follows the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 and the permitted development rules in England.
- Planning: Rear shutters are less visible, but listed buildings and conservation areas can still need consent.

Frequently asked questions
Can you fit a shutter over bifold doors?
Yes. The shutter runs outside the folding doors in its own guides, so it does not interfere with them. Very wide bifolds are often split into two shutters on a centre post.
How wide can one patio shutter be?
Around 3,000 mm in a standard foam-filled lath, and wider with stronger extruded profiles. We confirm the maximum for your opening at survey.
Do you cover Belper?
Yes, we survey and fit in Belper (DE56) as part of our Derbyshire coverage.
Do I need permission for patio & bifold door roller shutters in Belper?
External shutters on listed buildings need listed building consent, and conservation areas often have tighter rules. If you are unsure, ask your local council; we provide product details for any application.
