Rules that apply in Dundee
Dundee is in Scotland, so planning decisions sit with your planning authority (the local council, or a national park authority).
- Electrics: Wired to BS 7671 by a qualified electrician.
- Escape route: If the patio doors are a way out of the house, the shutter needs an inside control and a manual override.
- Planning: Rear shutters are less visible, but listed buildings and conservation areas can still need consent.
