The box over a door in Ammanford can be face-fixed, tucked under a soffit or built into an extension, and the survey shows which is possible.

Planning and safety in Ammanford
In Ammanford, as elsewhere in Wales, planning questions go to your local planning authority (the county or county borough council, or a national park authority).
- Electrics: Wired to BS 7671. Notifiable work in homes in England and Wales, such as a new circuit, is self-certified by a competent person scheme electrician or notified to building control.
- Escape route: If the patio doors are a way out of the house, the shutter needs an inside control and a manual override.
- Planning: Rear shutters are less visible, but listed buildings and conservation areas can still need consent.
