Questions about patio & bifold door roller shutters in Musselburgh
Can you fit a shutter over bifold doors?
Yes. The shutter runs outside the folding doors in its own guides, so it does not interfere with them. Very wide bifolds are often split into two shutters on a centre post.
Will a shutter keep my extension cooler?
Yes, an external shutter stops sun reaching the glass, which is far more effective at reducing heat than an internal blind.
How much do patio & bifold door roller shutters cost in Musselburgh?
We use the same UK guide prices in Musselburgh; after the survey you get a fixed written price for your opening.
Do I need permission for patio & bifold door roller shutters in Musselburgh?
It depends on the property. External shutters on listed buildings need listed building consent, and conservation areas often have tighter rules. Check with your council before ordering; we can supply drawings.
