What to check in Motherwell before ordering
As a Scottish town, Motherwell follows the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 and the Scottish permitted development rules.
- Planning: Rear shutters are less visible, but listed buildings and conservation areas can still need consent.
- Escape route: If the patio doors are a way out of the house, the shutter needs an inside control and a manual override.
- Electrics: Wired to BS 7671 by a qualified electrician.
