Patio & bifold door roller shutters in Newton Mearns: questions
Can you fit a shutter over bifold doors?
Yes. The shutter runs outside the folding doors in its own guides, so it does not interfere with them. Very wide bifolds are often split into two shutters on a centre post.
How wide can one patio shutter be?
Around 3,000 mm in a standard foam-filled lath, and wider with stronger extruded profiles. We confirm the maximum for your opening at survey.
Do you cover Newton Mearns?
Yes. Newton Mearns and the G77 postcode district are part of our coverage across Renfrewshire & Inverclyde.
Do I need permission for patio & bifold door roller shutters in Newton Mearns?
External shutters on listed buildings need listed building consent, and conservation areas often have tighter rules. If you are unsure, ask your council; we provide product details for any application.
