Frequently asked questions
Can a grille go inside the shop?
Yes. Internal grilles behind the glass are common where planning or the landlord prefers the shopfront unchanged.
Are roller grilles secure?
They form a strong barrier against entry, but small items could be reached through the gaps, so they suit displays rather than open counters of small goods.
Do you cover Limavady?
Yes. Book a survey for any address in Limavady in the usual way; it is covered as part of County Londonderry.
Do I need permission for roller grilles in Limavady?
It depends on the property. New external shutters on shopfronts and street-facing elevations usually need planning permission. Check with your local council before ordering; we can supply drawings.
