Our roller grilles service in East Kilbride
Whether your property is in the centre of East Kilbride or on its edges, it is included in our Lanarkshire coverage. Cambuslang, Rutherglen and Hamilton are covered too, which helps when several properties need doing.
If your shop in East Kilbride is on a parade or in a conservation area, the look of the shutter matters as much as the security, so we talk through planning-friendly options such as perforated laths or a box behind the fascia.
Manual push-up and crank shutters still suit small frontages in East Kilbride where there is no power at the box or the shutter only runs once a day.

What to check in East Kilbride before ordering
East Kilbride is in Scotland, so planning decisions sit with your planning authority (the local council, or a national park authority).
- Weather: Grilles do not keep out rain or wind, so they suit internal positions or sheltered openings.
- Centre rules: Shopping centres often specify finishes and operation; we work to the landlord's fit-out pack.

Questions about roller grilles in East Kilbride
Do shopping centres allow solid shutters?
Many require open grilles for internal units; check your lease or fit-out guide.
Are roller grilles secure?
They form a strong barrier against entry, but small items could be reached through the gaps, so they suit displays rather than open counters of small goods.
Do I need permission for roller grilles in East Kilbride?
Possibly. New external shutters on shopfronts and street-facing elevations usually need planning permission. We recommend checking with your council first.
Do you cover East Kilbride?
Yes. Book a survey for any address in East Kilbride in the usual way; it is covered as part of Lanarkshire.
