Frequently asked questions
Are roller grilles secure?
They form a strong barrier against entry, but small items could be reached through the gaps, so they suit displays rather than open counters of small goods.
Do shopping centres allow solid shutters?
Many require open grilles for internal units; check your lease or fit-out guide.
Do I need permission for roller grilles in Rhondda?
It depends on the property. New external shutters on shopfronts and street-facing elevations usually need planning permission. Check with your local council before ordering; we can supply drawings.
Is the survey free in Rhondda?
For new shutters, yes. Repair visits in Rhondda are charged because they include diagnosis and work on the day.
