Planning and safety in Rushden
In Rushden, as elsewhere in England, planning questions go to your local planning authority (the district, borough, city or unitary council).
- Centre rules: Shopping centres often specify finishes and operation; we work to the landlord's fit-out pack.
- Weather: Grilles do not keep out rain or wind, so they suit internal positions or sheltered openings.

Questions about roller grilles in Rushden
Are roller grilles secure?
They form a strong barrier against entry, but small items could be reached through the gaps, so they suit displays rather than open counters of small goods.
Do shopping centres allow solid shutters?
Many require open grilles for internal units; check your lease or fit-out guide.
Do I need permission for roller grilles in Rushden?
New external shutters on shopfronts and street-facing elevations usually need planning permission. If you are unsure, ask your local council; we provide product details for any application.
