Our shop roller shutters service in Billericay
Billericay is roughly 8 miles south of Chelmsford.
If your shop in Billericay is on a parade or in a conservation area, the look of the shutter matters as much as the security, so we talk through planning-friendly options such as perforated laths or a box behind the fascia.
Manual push-up and crank shutters still suit small frontages in Billericay where there is no power at the box or the shutter only runs once a day.
Surveys in Billericay and the surrounding area are arranged directly with you, as part of our coverage across Essex. Our coverage around Billericay also includes Basildon, Wickford and Brentwood.

What to check in Billericay before ordering
Billericay is in England, so planning decisions sit with your local planning authority (the district, borough, city or unitary council).
- Powered shutters: Powered shutters are set up so their safety devices work, and should be maintained. Workplace rules expect powered doors to be safe in use.
- Planning: A new shutter on a shopfront usually needs planning permission, because it changes how the building looks; councils often prefer perforated shutters or internal grilles, and some areas have shopfront design guides. Listed buildings also need listed building consent.
- Fire exits: A shutter must not obstruct a fire exit while the premises are occupied. We discuss operating procedures and any interlocks with you.
