Planning and safety in Maesteg
Maesteg is in Wales, so planning decisions sit with your local planning authority (the county or county borough council, or a national park authority).
- Planning: Solar shutters look much the same as mains shutters from outside, so the same planning advice applies.
- Orientation: We check daylight on the panel at survey; heavily shaded openings may need a remote panel or mains power.
