Questions about high-speed roller doors in Aylesbury
What happens if a forklift hits it?
Many fabric doors have a self-repairing curtain that comes out of the guides on impact and re-feeds on the next cycle.
Why use a high-speed door instead of a roller shutter?
Where a door opens many times an hour, a fast door is only open while traffic passes, which saves energy and keeps areas separate.
Do I need permission for high-speed roller doors in Aylesbury?
Possibly. New doors on industrial buildings can need planning permission if they change the elevation, and doors in fire compartment walls must suit the fire strategy. We recommend checking with your local council first.
Is the survey free in Aylesbury?
Yes, surveys for new installations in Aylesbury are free. Repair and service visits are charged.
