High-speed roller doors in Whitehaven: questions
Can high-speed doors be used outside?
Yes, with wind-rated construction for the exposure of the opening.
Why use a high-speed door instead of a roller shutter?
Where a door opens many times an hour, a fast door is only open while traffic passes, which saves energy and keeps areas separate.
Do you cover Whitehaven?
Yes. Whitehaven and the CA28 postcode district are part of our coverage across Cumbria.
Do I need permission for high-speed roller doors in Whitehaven?
New doors on industrial buildings can need planning permission if they change the elevation, and doors in fire compartment walls must suit the fire strategy. If you are unsure, ask your local council; we provide product details for any application.
