Our high-speed roller doors service in Gloucester
Whether your property is in the centre of Gloucester or on its edges, it is included in our Gloucestershire coverage. Other towns nearby that we cover include Cheltenham, Stroud and Tewkesbury.
Each industrial door is specified for its own opening, so a site in Gloucester gets a door matched to its size, use and power supply rather than a single standard.
For warehouses, depots and workshops in and around Gloucester, the door is sized to the opening, the wind on that elevation and the number of cycles a day.

Rules that apply in Gloucester
Gloucester is in England, so planning decisions sit with your local planning authority (the district, borough, city or unitary council).
- Maintenance: High cycle counts mean more frequent servicing than ordinary roller doors.
- Safety: Light curtains and activation zones are commissioned on site so the door cannot close on people or vehicles in the opening.

Questions about high-speed roller doors in Gloucester
Can high-speed doors be used outside?

Do I need permission for high-speed roller doors in Gloucester?
New doors on industrial buildings can need planning permission if they change the elevation, and doors in fire compartment walls must suit the fire strategy. If you are unsure, ask your local council; we provide product details for any application.
