Rules that apply in Wishaw
In Wishaw, as elsewhere in Scotland, planning questions go to your planning authority (the local council, or a national park authority).

- Safety: Light curtains and activation zones are commissioned on site so the door cannot close on people or vehicles in the opening.

Yes, with wind-rated construction for the exposure of the opening.
Is the survey free in Wishaw?
Yes, surveys for new installations in Wishaw are free. Repair and service visits are charged.
Do I need permission for high-speed roller doors in Wishaw?
New doors on industrial buildings can need planning permission if they change the elevation, and doors in fire compartment walls must suit the fire strategy. If you are unsure, ask your council; we provide product details for any application.
