Rules that apply in Northamptonshire
Across Northamptonshire, planning follows the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 and the permitted development rules in England.
- Safety: Light curtains and activation zones are commissioned on site so the door cannot close on people or vehicles in the opening.
- Maintenance: High cycle counts mean more frequent servicing than ordinary roller doors.
