Patio & bifold door roller shutters in Johnstone: questions
How wide can one patio shutter be?
Around 3,000 mm in a standard foam-filled lath, and wider with stronger extruded profiles. We confirm the maximum for your opening at survey.
Will a shutter keep my extension cooler?
Yes, an external shutter stops sun reaching the glass, which is far more effective at reducing heat than an internal blind.
Do I need permission for patio & bifold door roller shutters in Johnstone?
Possibly. External shutters on listed buildings need listed building consent, and conservation areas often have tighter rules. We recommend checking with your council first.
Is the survey free in Johnstone?
Yes, surveys for new installations in Johnstone are free. Repair and service visits are charged.
