Rules that apply in Accrington
As an English town, Accrington follows the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 and the permitted development rules in England.
- Planning: A perforated shutter is often the type councils will accept on a shopfront, but an application is usually still needed.
- Weather: Perforations let some wind and rain through, so think about the glazing behind and draughts in exposed spots.
