Rules that apply in Elgin
In Elgin, as elsewhere in Scotland, planning questions go to your planning authority (the local council, or a national park authority).
- Fire shutters: Faults on fire shutters affect the building's fire safety; tell the person responsible for fire safety and arrange repair promptly.
- Safety first: Do not keep forcing a shutter that has jammed or dropped; a sprung or heavy curtain can move suddenly. Keep people clear and call us.
