Frequently asked questions
Can high-speed doors be used outside?
Yes, with wind-rated construction for the exposure of the opening.
What happens if a forklift hits it?
Many fabric doors have a self-repairing curtain that comes out of the guides on impact and re-feeds on the next cycle.
Do I need permission for high-speed roller doors in Forres?
It depends on the property. New doors on industrial buildings can need planning permission if they change the elevation, and doors in fire compartment walls must suit the fire strategy. Check with your council before ordering; we can supply drawings.
