Frequently asked questions
Why use a high-speed door instead of a roller shutter?
Where a door opens many times an hour, a fast door is only open while traffic passes, which saves energy and keeps areas separate.
Can high-speed doors be used outside?
Yes, with wind-rated construction for the exposure of the opening.
Do I need permission for high-speed roller doors in Nairn?
Possibly. New doors on industrial buildings can need planning permission if they change the elevation, and doors in fire compartment walls must suit the fire strategy. We recommend checking with your council first.
Is the survey free in Nairn?
For new shutters, yes. Repair visits in Nairn are charged because they include diagnosis and work on the day.
