Frequently asked questions
Can high-speed doors be used outside?
Yes, with wind-rated construction for the exposure of the opening.
Why use a high-speed door instead of a roller shutter?
Where a door opens many times an hour, a fast door is only open while traffic passes, which saves energy and keeps areas separate.
Do I need permission for high-speed roller doors in Loughborough?
Possibly. New doors on industrial buildings can need planning permission if they change the elevation, and doors in fire compartment walls must suit the fire strategy. We recommend checking with your local council first.
How much do high-speed roller doors cost in Loughborough?
We use the same UK guide prices in Loughborough; after the survey you get a fixed written price for your opening.
