Questions about high-speed roller doors in Gorseinon
Why use a high-speed door instead of a roller shutter?
Where a door opens many times an hour, a fast door is only open while traffic passes, which saves energy and keeps areas separate.
What happens if a forklift hits it?
Many fabric doors have a self-repairing curtain that comes out of the guides on impact and re-feeds on the next cycle.
Is the survey free in Gorseinon?
For new shutters, yes. Repair visits in Gorseinon are charged because they include diagnosis and work on the day.
Do I need permission for high-speed roller doors in Gorseinon?
New doors on industrial buildings can need planning permission if they change the elevation, and doors in fire compartment walls must suit the fire strategy. If you are unsure, ask your local council; we provide product details for any application.
